Healthy neck: free the arms

One way to help reduce tension in the neck and shoulders is to learn to move the hands, forearms, upper arms and shoulders independently of each other. During the day circle your hands, spreading and closing the fingers sequentially. Then try to circle the forearm around the upper arm at the same time circling the hand.  Next try to move the upper arm separate of the shoulder and the lower arm and hand, much like Hula or Indonesian dancing.
